tirwel provides sub-consultancy services to other practices to support their in-house resources on larger projects and works with other small consultancies alongside their existing specialisms.
How does it work?
Work programmes flow with peaks and troughs, sometimes you need more resources but can’t justify an extra permanent staff member, sometimes you need a fresh pair of eyes on a piece of work, sometimes you get offered a job which needs specialist knowledge you don't have in house, that’s when you need a sub-consultant. One that can work as a valued temporary member of your team.
Our long experience as part of a multi-disciplinary team enables tirwel to slot in quickly to provide landscape input on projects being delivered by other practices. tirwel can be relied upon either as an additional resource for an in-house landscape team or to provide landscape input alongside other related disciplines. It’s a small world, we understand the need for confidentiality and discretion, we won’t share details of your project or organisation and we don’t poach clients, we help you out when you need it most.
We have the necessary software to use most standard forms and processes and as online based team working is now the norm for most we don't need to be in your office whether local or further afield.
We can also provide landscape support to local authority planning and development teams who are either without a landscape colleague or need extra resources just as a commercial practice may.
